U. S. News & World Report published their annual “50 Best Careers” for the 2011 year and once again, lab technician made it into this prestigious Top 50 with the likes of Financial Analyst, Film and Video Editor, Occupational Therapist, and even a Court Reporter.

Median pay was around $36,000 a year for 2009 and can get upwards of $55,000 at the top of the pay curve.
